Welcome to MJ’s Car Lab. By using our website, booking our services, or visiting our premises, you agree to the Terms & Conditions below. Please read them carefully.


1. General

1.1. MJ’s Car Lab provides vehicle detailing, servicing, repairs, paint protection, ceramic coating, and related automotive services.
1.2. These Terms apply to all bookings, enquiries, and services carried out by MJ’s Car Lab.
1.3. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.


2. Bookings & Appointments

2.1. All bookings are subject to availability.
2.2. We may require a deposit for certain services or to secure an appointment.
2.3. You agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle, including condition and any known issues.
2.4. If a vehicle arrives in significantly worse condition than described, additional charges may apply or the booking may be rescheduled.


3. Pricing & Payments

3.1. Prices are based on the service selected, the condition of the vehicle, and the time required.
3.2. All prices will be confirmed before work begins.
3.3. Additional work will only be carried out with your approval.
3.4. Payment must be made on or before collection of the vehicle unless otherwise agreed.


4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

4.1. Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
4.2. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of deposit or an additional fee.
4.3. If MJ’s Car Lab needs to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as early as possible.


5. Vehicle Condition & Customer Responsibilities

5.1. Customers must remove all personal belongings prior to handing over the vehicle. We are not responsible for lost items left inside.
5.2. If a vehicle is excessively dirty or contains hazardous materials (e.g., vomit, mould, sharp objects), an extra charge may apply or the service may be refused.
5.3. Customers must disclose any mechanical issues that may affect the service.


6. Liability

6.1. We take great care with every vehicle; however, MJ’s Car Lab is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Wear and tear

  • Stone chips, scratches, or defects already present

  • Mechanical or electrical failures unrelated to work done

  • Damage caused by old, brittle, or poorly fitted parts

6.2. Before-and-after inspections or photographs may be taken for quality and protection purposes.
6.3. We are not liable for damage caused by weather conditions once a vehicle has left our premises.


7. Ceramic Coating, Waxing & Paint Protection

7.1. Ceramic coating results vary based on vehicle condition, maintenance, and environment.
7.2. Durability claims are estimates, not guarantees.
7.3. Customers must follow the aftercare advice provided to maintain results.
7.4. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper washing or external factors.


8. Warranty

8.1. We guarantee all workmanship for a reasonable period depending on the service provided.
8.2. Warranty does not cover:

  • Poor maintenance

  • Third-party damage

  • Track use or extreme conditions

  • Modifications after service

8.3. Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service collection.


9. Collection & Storage

9.1. Vehicles must be collected at the agreed time.
9.2. Vehicles left beyond 24 hours may incur a daily storage fee.
9.3. MJ’s Car Lab is not responsible for items left inside the vehicle.


10. Website Use

10.1. All content on this website is owned by MJ’s Car Lab.
10.2. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce content without permission.
10.3. We make no guarantee the website will always be available or error-free.


11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes will be handled in the relevant courts.
